Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AC Technician (HVAC) responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and water-cooling systems. The role also involves diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely in accordance with company standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and provide detailed reports.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and warranty services.
• Identify potential maintenance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Test AC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical cycles and system components.
• Maintain daily logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Complete all documentation including inspection sheets and service reports.
• Estimate material, labor, and time requirements for maintenance and installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Assist and train junior technicians when required.
• Drive company or personal vehicle to various job locations as needed.
• Be available for on-call duties and emergency maintenance after working hours.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management, including support to other departments if required.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma (mandatory).
• Diploma in Air Conditioning / HVAC (required).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Valid Kuwaiti driver’s license (mandatory).
• Proven experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration, and cooling systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
• Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
