Job Opening: General Manager – Food Products Venture

We are launching a new food products venture in Kuwait and are looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) to lead the business.

The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing food products from international manufacturers and securing exclusive agency or distribution rights in Kuwait, while building and growing the business locally.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and source food products from international suppliers and manufacturers
• Negotiate and secure exclusive agency or distribution agreements for Kuwait
• Build strong relationships with global suppliers and partners
• Lead the launch and market expansion of the products in Kuwait
• Develop and manage sales, marketing, and distribution strategies
• Build and manage the local team and operations
• Monitor financial performance, costs, and profitability
• Identify new business and product opportunities

Requirements
• 5–10+ years experience in Food Products / FMCG / Food Distribution
• Experience in international product sourcing and supplier negotiations
• Proven ability to secure agency or distribution deals
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait market and retail channels
• Strong leadership and business development skills

Salary & Benefits
• Salary: 1,500 – 3,000 KD per month (depending on experience)
