About the Role As Team Lead, Account Management at Vysta Paid Media Group, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of 4-5 Account Managers while continuing to manage a small, select portfolio of your own client accounts. This hybrid role combines strategic oversight, mentorship, and hands-on client management. You’ll guide AMs in delivering performance-focused Google Ads campaigns while owning the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new and existing team members. You’re both a strategic operator and a mentor who drives results.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership Lead a team of 4–5 Account Managers, acting as their primary point of escalation Conduct weekly performance reviews and account audits Set performance expectations and collaborate with leadership on staffing and resourcing needs Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
Training & Onboarding Develop ramp-up plans for new Account Managers Lead training sessions for Account Managers Monitor the progress of your Account Managers and provide structured, actionable feedback
Client Account Management Manage a limited number of medium-high client accounts directly Execute, scale, and optimize campaigns across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and You Tube Maintain strong communication with clients and deliver strategic insights with clarity
Performance Optimization Oversee data-driven decision making across the team Implement and advocate for A/B testing, feed optimization, and CRO collaboration Collaborate with the Creative team to develop high-performing ad assets
Who You Are8+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns for e Commerce brands Demonstrated leadership experience, formally or informally leading others Skilled at onboarding and developing talent in a fast-paced environment Strong communicator, highly organized, and solution-oriented Familiar with You Tube Ads, Performance Max, Google Shopping, Google Search, Google Display, Google Merchant Center, Shopify, Woocommerce, Triplewhale, and more.
