Our client is seeking a Lab Technician to support project quality control by conducting material testing, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring all results meet project specifications and regulatory standards. The role requires strong technical accuracy, timely reporting, and coordination with project teams across the clients sites.

Responsibilities -

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates).
• Prepare, label, and document samples in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain calibration, cleanliness, and safe operation of lab equipment.
• Record, analyze, and report test results to the QA/QC team.
• Support site inspections and verification of materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait regulations, project specifications, and internal quality procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for test approvals and clarifications.

Skills

Requirements -

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Lab Technician in construction or materials testing.
• Experience working on PAHW (Public Authority for Housing Welfare) projects is highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of ASTM, BS, and Kuwait-specific testing standards.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain organized documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically able to handle field sampling when required.
