We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Site Engineer – Steel Structures to join our team in Kuwait. This role is ideal for a professional with solid on-site exposure to steel structure projects, capable of bridging the gap between design intent and site execution while confidently engaging with consultants and project stakeholders.
🔧 Key Responsibilities ▪ Technical Drawing Expertise: Interpret and review Structural GA drawings, connection details, and shop drawings with a high level of accuracy, identifying discrepancies between design and actual site conditions ▪ Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination: Lead technical discussions and meetings with Consultants and Owners, clearly presenting site challenges and proposing practical, solution-oriented outcomes ▪ Site Oversight & Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, and resolve construction-related issues ▪ Project & Resource Management: Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, budgets, and coordination activities related to steel structure works
🎓 Essential Skills & Requirements ▪ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field ▪ Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred ▪ Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure construction projects ▪ Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel erection practices ▪ Solid understanding of steel design codes and standards (AISC, Eurocode, etc.) ▪ Proficiency in Auto CAD and basic coordination / project management tools ▪ Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills ▪ Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities ▪ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
