General Electric Technician

  • Experience:
  1. Install new electrical wiring, conduits (PVC, G.I.), trunking, and cabling systems for power and lighting circuits according to blueprints and specifications.
  2. Mount, connect, and install various types of lighting fixtures (e.g., LED, fluorescent, decorative) and their associated control devices (switches, dimmers, sensors, timers).
  3. Install and connect power outlets, data outlets, telephone outlets, and other electrical points.
  4. Install and terminate circuit breakers, distribution boards (DBs), and sub-main distribution boards (SMDBs).
  5. Assist in the installation of electrical equipment and appliances as required.
  6. Proven experience in a similar role within Kuwait or the GCC region is highly preferred


Skills

· Repairs & Maintenance:

  1. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and faults in wiring, lighting systems, power distribution, and electrical equipment using appropriate testing instruments (multi-meter, circuit tester, etc.).
  2. Perform repairs on faulty electrical components, including replacing damaged wiring, switches, sockets, light ballasts, drivers, and fixtures.
