TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

·        Monitor and assign work to Site Engineers in accordance with GEC policies and procedures.

·        Monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses.

·        Handle procurement activities related to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with Company policy & procedures.

·        Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.

·        Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines

·        Undertake QC reporting interaction with other departments of Company and clients to assure production schedules and deliveries are met

·        Act as a liaison with contractors and clients managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope.

·        Responsible for floating the enquiries, selecting the equipment as per the specifications and negotiating with the manufacturer for the equipment.

·        Responsible for the execution of Projects in accordance to project’s specification, budget and time frame.

·        Perform verification testing, analysis and implement corrective actions to improve the design.

·        Conduct regular risk analysis and take immediate measures to correct loopholes in the project.

·        Prepare project progress report and submit the manager on a weekly basis.

·        Responsible for Authority Approval from the Government authorities such as MPW, MEW, Kuwait Fire Department, etc.

·        Responsible for performing installation as per the project plan.

·        Responsible for obtaining approval for installation adhere with QA/QC.

·        Perform other task assigned by the management

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

·        Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.

·        Experience with minimum 10 years in progressively responsible Project Engineer roles preferably in MEP Industry.

·        Strong problem solving, negotiations and creative skills.

·        Excellent command in English and Arabic.

·        Project Planning &Team Management.
