We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team, specializing in aluminum and wood projects, as well as fit-out and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing costs to ensure the efficient execution of projects within budget, focusing on quality and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and track detailed budgets for aluminum, wood, and fit-out projects.
- Monitor actual costs versus planned costs and provide accurate variance reports.
- Analyze the costs of raw materials (aluminum and wood), equipment, and labor.
- Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure resource efficiency and achieve financial targets.
- Evaluate the impact of design changes and schedule adjustments on overall costs.
- Generate comprehensive reports on cash flows, risks, and project performance.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to secure the best prices and ensure timely supply.
- Propose solutions to improve processes and reduce costs without compromising project quality.
- Support project teams in preparing schedules and resource allocations for projects.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, management, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, particularly in aluminum, wood, fit-out, and construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of industrial processes and designs related to aluminum and wood works.
- Proficiency in tools like Primavera P6, MS Excel, and cost control software.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to create clear and transparent reports.
- Good understanding of fit-out and construction operations and resource management.
