Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding

Retain existing and develop new customers by exercising company values. Contribute to the overall Logistics Sales budget by achieving personal budget and effectively selling all line of products and services available within the business unit.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
  • Meet and exceed the target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
  • Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
  • Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.
  • Maintain updated existing and potential customer list.
  • Prepare weekly activity report, updated prospect list and sales call plan for the following week and submit same to the CSM weekly.
  • Keep self-updated on competitors’ activities and industry related information.
  • Customer satisfaction measured against targets set.
  • Achieving sales target set by the organizations.
  • Achieve 75% of the budget revenue should come from new customers.
  • Weekly update on customer receivable to be updated.
  • Maintain the existing customers in freight forwarding.


Candidate Requirements:


Mandatory requirements.

  • University graduate.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing with a proven record.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Effective communication and Presentation skill.


Additional preferences.

  • Graduation in Int’l trade / Shipping / Supply chain management or in any faculty.
  • Good grooming and appearance
  • Interpersonal & negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of geography, local language, tradition and the market.
