The Draftsman Quantity Surveyor plays a pivotal role in the construction and building industry, particularly in Kuwait. This position requires a blend of technical drafting skills and quantity surveying expertise to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both architectural drafting and cost estimation, enabling them to contribute effectively to various stages of construction projects. With a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 11 years of experience, the Draftsman Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, conducting cost analyses, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural and structural drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract agreements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
