Quality Control Supervisor

Kuwait
  • Normal inspection activities that include personnel and facilities (assure food safety regulation implementation)
  • Sampling and material examination practices as appropriate.
  • Able to communicate, record & formulate reports related to activities conducted.
  • Implement the verification and monitoring plan issued from the quality head.
  • Assure adherence to safety instructions during production and manufacturing (with special attention to food safety issues and deviations)
  • Quality assurance activities based on the production parameters.
  • Good manufacturing practices implementation and any prerequisite programs related to food safety management system.
  • Able to train the production personnel and adequately share the knowledge to perform activity when needed.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems, identify the root causes and manage the corrective actions needed based on production process monitored.

Preferred Candidate:

Qualifications:

  • Food technology field bachelor degree / other disciplines related to quality management and quality control may be accepted according to experience
  • 2-6 years of experience in quality management (quality control and quality assurance activities)
  • Good knowledge in the following fields:


  • Quality assurance activities / process management and process parameter monitoring (HACCP plan implementation)
  • Quality control activities / material inspection and testing – raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, etc.
  • Prerequisite programs implementation which include:
  • Good manufacturing practices
  • Hygiene practices monitoring (personal hygiene, equipment and utensils cleaning, infrastructure cleaning, etc.)
  • Vermin management practices verification activities
  • Waste management practices
  • Other monitoring and verification activities as appropriate



 


Skills


  • Good communication skills (basic English / Arabic optional)
  • Good computer skills for basic applications as appropriate.
  • Food safety management system requirements (GMP – good manufacturing practices, HACCP plan implementation, FSSC – food safety system certification)
  • Experience in dates processing and manufacturing (optional)
  • Leadership and commanding skills / teamwork.
