Commercial Executive executes the supply chain process including daily engagement with sales to RFQ with
suppliers to support sales to generate offers to customers. They will be reporting to Commercial Manager
directly and supporting the respective Sales Department heads in sharing the stock & delivery status reports &
findings in communication and be their commercial assistance. Further, he/she negotiates supplier’s terms,
prices and delivery schedules using his/her knowledge of budget, stock level, approved requisitions and schedule
of requirements. Commercial executive also handles nonstandard products and seek for new business
opportunities for the organization.
Key Commitment
• Adhere to purchasing polices, process, procedures as mentioned on operations polices & procedures
manual and direct manager instructions.
• Ensure that company requirements of equipment/ items are process in most cost effective, economical
and timely manner within the framework of defined company polices
• Ensure that Purchase planning is active and meeting the required stock level and coverage of market
needs.
• Use knowledge of material work planning and methods for processing procedure to ensure product on
time delivery
• Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on the requirement
• Uses Knowledge of items and equipment’s to schedule items necessary to continual of sales cycles.
• Maintain regular contact through proper channels and with effective communication skills with
principal suppliers to ensure operations are running smoothly
• Reports any change or any non- compliance of products specification whenever occurred or whenever
requested.
• Participate on evaluations of suppliers and suggest any changes to facilitate the operation and reduce
costs.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
Monitor inventory stock level on regular basis and inform respective sales or concerned department for
planning purposes through reports.
Produce commercial department reports related to monthly sales stock reports and other reports when
and as required.
Review and Analyze information from Branch Sales Managers regarding enquire of new products or
stock availability as received from commercial assistant.
Evaluate Requisition forms received and send evaluation to commercial Assistant for standard items
for processing within maximum 3 working days
Collects required information on the requisitions and check stock level and conduct a search studying

Handle requests of nonstandard items / purchases when and as required

Update Commercial Department Application (Oracle System) on all phases of the requisition status
Update commercial department registers and forms when and as required.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor in Engineering or Business Administration.
