Freight Sales Manager

Role Summary:

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading the sales team in Kuwait to achieve business goals by increasing revenue, improving client retention, and expanding the customer base. This role requires a strong understanding of the freight and logistics industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster strategic relationships with clients and partners. You will focus on Air & Sea freight, ensuring the seamless delivery of services while optimizing profit margins. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve sales targets, fostering a culture of success.
  • Develop a sales plan and implement it to achieve business growth, focusing on revenue generation and increasing market share.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow the business in Kuwait across industries, analyze sales metrics (e.g., revenue, lead conversion, sales pipeline) and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify potential clients and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in various industries, prepare and deliver compelling presentations and sales pitches tailored to clients' needs.
  • Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.
  • Manages the Onboarding of new accounts to ensure fulfillment of all requirements and smooth assimilation.
  • Work closely with the operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of services as promised to clients.
  • Coordinate with the finance team on credit approvals, invoicing, and payment terms for clients.
  • Stay updated on market trends, including industry developments, pricing strategies, and competitive offerings.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the management team to inform strategic decisions.

Skills

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to Freight sales and business development
