Head of Department - Sales B2B - Al Mulla Group

Responsibilities

Al Mulla Electronics Company is strategically collaborating with a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, home appliances, and HVAC systems and seeking an experienced and proactive B2B - Head of Sales. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with his/her team the management of retailers and channel partners, providing comprehensive sales and technical support throughout the sales process. The candidate will be key to the team's growth and must possess the ability to grow the business annually by utilizing industry skills and leveraging relationships with sales partners, contractors, and customers. Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth and Operations: Oversee and lead the sales growth and operations for all B2B operations related to Commercial Air Conditioning (CAC), Information Display (ID) and
  • Information Technology (IT) product solutions and systems, including but not limited to VRFs, single and multi-splits, and packaged units, commercial televisions, digital signage, and video walls within the assigned territory.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute joint business plans with sales partners and contractors to enhance market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborative Business Strategies: Formulate and implement collaborative business strategies with major accounts and sales partners to drive the growth of CAC, ID and IT product portfolio, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting and Inventory Management: Collaborate with sales partners and contractors to forecast sales, projects, project timelines, and inventory. Ensure revenue targets and factory inventory goals are met.
  • Lead Generation: Generate and follow up on business leads from existing and potential customers.
  • Networking and Referrals: Leverage existing contacts to identify business opportunities and establish new connections through strategic networking and referrals.
  • Product Knowledge: Master product knowledge to effectively recommend, detail, and market product solutions.
  • Training and Empowerment: Educate and empower the personnel of AMX sales engineers, key accounts, contractors and partners regarding the product's attributes, advantages, and sales methodologies.

Field of Experience

:

  • Experience in sales and technical roles, with a focus on areas relevant to technology systems and product solutions.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within industries related to VRF, packaged and room air conditioning, ID, or similar fields.
  • Experience in managing and growing key accounts, particularly in sectors such as hospitality, retail, education, and corporate environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical information and effectively communicate it to a non-technical audience.
  • Familiarity with project management and the ability to oversee projects from conception to completion.

Skills

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, and manage interpersonal relationships. Capable of effectively conveying technical information to non-technical customers and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Sales Acumen: Extensive knowledge of solution sales strategies with a proven ability to close deals using a customer-focused approach.
  • Understanding of Systems: Comprehensive understanding of chiller systems, including their components and functionality.
  • Industry Standards and Regulations: In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations related to HVAC, ID and IT systems.
  • Problem Identification and Solving Skills: Strategic thinker with a talent for problemsolving and making well-informed decisions. Skilled in identifying issues, aggregating data, ascertaining facts, and drawing effective conclusions.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven track record of effective management and team leadership. Ability to guide and collaborate with a team towards achieving common sales goals.
  • Presentation Skills: Proficient in delivering engaging and informative product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Technical Tools Proficiency: Experienced with CRM platforms like Salesforce a technical software such as AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of Business Operations: Thorough understanding of business operations, including sales, management, finance, budgeting, and principles of risk management.
  • Compliance Regulations: Deep understanding of compliance regulations related to anti-bribery and corruption.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and product developments.
