We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Financial Analyst who will play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, supporting investment decisions, and capital allocation strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling and investment performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support investment strategies, including ROI assessments, profitability, and performance reviews.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, highlighting key financial metrics and investment performance indicators.
- Analyze market trends, financial statements, and macroeconomic data to offer strategic insights to senior management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk assessment to support corporate strategy and decision-making.
Investment Valuation:
- Perform in-depth financial modeling and valuation for investment opportunities, including acquisitions, capital projects, and portfolio reviews.
- Evaluate asset valuations, cash flow projections, and market dynamics to ensure alignment with financial and investment goals.
Capital Allocation:
- Support the evaluation of capital allocation and funding strategies, assisting in optimizing resource deployment for investment portfolios.
- Assist in monitoring capital deployment, returns on investment, and liquidity management.
Risk Management:
- Monitor and assess financial risks related to investment portfolios and suggest strategies to mitigate exposure.
- Keep track of market and economic developments affecting investment outcomes and portfolio strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and senior executives, presenting insights and analysis to guide investment decisions.
- Work closely with internal teams (risk, legal, accounting) to ensure investment compliance with financial regulations.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- CFA Level 1 and Level 2 completed.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar field.
- Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
