· Sells with minimal supervision, the BMS offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners to reach optimal profit levels.
- Builds partnering relationships with the decision makers within the BMS Consultants, Contractors and owner / owner representatives to drive the sales of BMS offerings.
- Understands the customer's business and speak their language.
- Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
- Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers to develop, maintain and expand the existing client network.
- Addresses customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
- Differentiates company’s services and products from competitors based on business benefits.
- Generates techno-commercial offers/quotations for customer inquiries, based on the accurate analysis of projects’ design documentation such as specifications, equipment schedules, control schematics, etc.; and in-line with the company’s financial policies, terms and conditions.
- Where a letter of intent (LOI) is received, prepares proposal technical submittal and follows-up on its approval to secure order.
- Ensures quality and accuracy of bid documents provided to customers.
- Carries out technical presentations and/or demonstrations for clients and consultants when needed.
- Identifies areas to improve customer satisfaction; communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
- Plans and executes sales activities in order to meet order intake and net sales targets.
- Implements strategic sales tactics and selling skills to maximize sales hit rate and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Tracks and reports, current and future sales opportunities, on a monthly basis to populate and update the Division’s Sales Analysis Report (SAR) and Potential Market Analysis (PMA).
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the BMS industry.
- Strong understanding of Sales within the BMS industry. (Good knowledge of HVAC&R would be an advantage)
- Proven technical knowledge of BMS, Lighting Control Systems, etc. (Siemens product knowledge would be an advantage)
- Proven experience of hitting or exceeding assigned annual sales targets.
- Excellent communication / negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented with analytical mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
- Full professional proficiency in verbal and written English. (Basic Arabic knowledge would be an advantage
