Position: Performance Senior Officer

Location: Kuwait – Head Office

Type: Full-time


As a Performance Senior Officer at ABYAT, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and ensuring high performance across various departments within the organisation. You will work closely with senior management and department heads to implement strategies, analyse performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.


Job Description:


  1. Develop and implement performance strategies aligned with the organisation's overall goals and objectives. This involves understanding the organisation's mission, vision, and long-term plans.
  2. Identify, establish, and monitor KPIs that reflect the organisation's performance. This includes defining relevant metrics for different departments and ensuring they align with overall business objectives.
  3. Analyse and interpret performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Conduct bench-marking activities to compare the organisation's performance against industry standards and best practices. This helps identify areas where the organisation can improve and innovate.
  5. Implement and manage performance measurement systems, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. This may involve working with technology and software solutions.
  6. Develop and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and overall organisational efficiency. This may involve collaborating with different departments to identify and address performance gaps.
  7. Effectively communicate performance insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
  8. Oversee performance improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and achieve the desired outcomes. This requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  9. Support the organisation in adopting changes that result from performance improvement initiatives. This includes managing resistance, communicating effectively, and ensuring a smooth transition.


Qualifications:

  1. Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and KPI development.
  2. Proficiency in developing and implementing KPIs that align with organisational objectives.
  3. Experience in measuring and evaluating performance at both organisational and individual levels.
  4. Familiarity with conducting performance surveys and analysing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Knowledge of performance management systems, preferably Success Factors, and the ability to effectively navigate and utilise its features.
  6. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise KPIs and performance-related documentation.
  7. 3 - 5 years of experience in performance management or a related field is preferred.
