Product Manager, Liabilities & Insurance

Job Purpose

Assist the Head of Liabilities & Insurance in various aspects of product development, portfolio management, campaign management, Sales channel support and MIS for Liabilities, Insurance and Investment products to achieve the budgeted volume and revenue growths


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for full liability, insurance, investment and fee product mix, providing regular monitoring on volumes (against budget), net interest margins with key variances and updates on key projects/initiatives on a daily/weekly/monthly basis along with any significant trends.
  • Play Critical Role in preparing & monitoring budgetary & financial performance in the annual planning process.
  • Enhance customer journeys and experience in digital channels, branches and call center
  • Play Critical Role in formulating individual product / pricing strategies and integrating them into the overall Liability/Insurance/fee products strategy
  • Assist in designing new products or amending product/s to meet customer needs, based on discussions with Segments and Sales teams
  • Provide oversight and manage raffle draw procedures for prize accounts in line with Ministry regulations
  • Launch long term savings products bundled with Insurance to help customers meet their financial goals
  • Provide on-going product training to sales force and others when required
  • Product marketing campaign development and management, maximize ROI from all marketing campaigns across traditional and digital media
  • Conduct Periodic product performance reports in order to measure ROI
  • Monitor and analyze competitor’s products in order to compare them with our products
  • Monitors and ensures ongoing compliance of products and procedures


Educational Qualifications & Experience


REQUIRED EDUCATION:


Graduate with Management from a recognized Business school or University


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


  • Exposure in a Product Management environment preferably a Bank / Financial Services Company
  • At least 7-8 years of experience
  • 2-3 years exposure in planning, marketing & project management


Competencies

  • A through professional with a number of varied skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to ‘conceptualize’ and look at the ‘bigger picture’
  • Good oral and written communications in both Arabic & English
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team spirit and ability to maintain good ‘working relationship’.
  • Good presentation & training skills


Skills

  • Advanced Excel is a must
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong report and presentation writing skills
  • Good oral and written communications
