On behalf of our client, we are seeking candidates for the Sales Engineer position who will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets for construction material products. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed company sales targets.
- Identify new sales opportunities through market research and expand the customer base.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market changes.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers by understanding their needs and providing product information and solutions.
- Regularly engage with clients to discuss project details, understand specific requirements, and provide product recommendations for construction material products.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including sales calls, meetings, and orders.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports for management, tracking progress against targets.
Project Coordination:
- Meet with customers to discuss project details and gather specific requirements related to construction material products.
- Prepare and submit detailed and competitive quotations to clients and follow up as necessary to close deals.
Invoicing & Payments:
- Ensure timely follow-up with clients for invoicing and payment collection, addressing any concerns to facilitate prompt payments.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry, with a focus on building materials.
- Strong understanding of construction material products, their applications, design, installation, and usage.
- Familiarity with the construction industry and knowledge of project-based sales processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
- A valid Kuwaiti driving license is mandatory.
