Job Title: Inventory Controller Supervisor

Job Purpose: The Inventory Controller Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management across sub-stores. This includes maintaining data accuracy, overseeing sub-store organization and cleanliness, conducting product audits, and supporting inventory-related processes. The role ensures that inventory levels are optimized and that procedures are followed to maintain product quality and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Supervise the management of inventory in all sub-stores to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Ensure accuracy in inventory data, including stock levels, movement, and adjustments. Coordinate regular and ad-hoc inventory counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Sub-store Organization and Cleanliness: Oversee the organization of sub-stores to ensure efficient storage, accessibility, and cleanliness. Enforce compliance with health and safety standards and hygiene regulations within sub-stores.
  • Data Accuracy and Reporting: Monitor and verify the accuracy of all inventory-related data, ensuring the timely input of stock movements and adjustments. Generate periodic inventory reports to highlight discrepancies, stock levels, and inventory performance.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular product audits to ensure stock integrity and expiration monitoring. Ensure that inventory processes comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the inventory control team, providing guidance, support, and training. Foster a collaborative environment, promoting best practices in inventory management.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with the Procurement and Inventory Management Supervisor and relevant teams to ensure alignment in inventory control and replenishment strategies. Assist in resolving any inventory discrepancies or challenges.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience in managing sub-stores or retail inventory is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and systems. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
