Chef de Partie - Restaurant

Job Description:

Candiates from GCC experience preferd.


The Chef de Partie will be responsible for overseeing a specific section in the kitchen, managing and training junior chefs, and ensuring the highest quality of food production in the restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to standard recipes and guidelines.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs in the kitchen.
  • Ensure the food production process meets the quality standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Assist in creating new dishes and menu planning.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily operations.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant culinary position.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
  • Demonstrated creativity in food preparation and presentation.
  • Experience in menu development and cost control.
  • Training in culinary arts or related field.
