Responsibilities:

 Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment, including compressors, condensers,

evaporators, and controls.

 Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure

system reliability.

 Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration systems.

 Replace defective components and adjust systems to ensure optimal performance.

 Monitor and control the operation of refrigeration systems to ensure efficient performance.

 Record and maintain accurate logs of system operations, maintenance activities, and repairs.

 Adhere to all safety standards and protocols related to the handling and use of refrigerants and other

hazardous materials.

 Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.

 Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.

 Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff and plant operators regarding refrigeration

systems.

 Collaborate with engineers and other technical personnel to improve system performance and efficiency.

 Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs.

 Prepare and submit reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and safety compliance.

 Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Required Educational Qualifications & Work Experience:

 High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in HVAC or related fields is preferred.

 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems.

 Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and tolerate various weather conditions.
