About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Sr. Airport Engineer to Join our team in an Aviation Project in Jeddah.
Primary Purpose of the Position:
As a Senior Airport Engineer, you will oversee and manage airport infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your role involves designing, planning, and directing the construction and maintenance of airport facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strong Demonstrated professional experience in airport planning and design including geometric design of airside & landside, utilities, and OLS surface studies.
• Strong Demonstrable professional experience in Airport Engineering Design within Civil Engineering: pavement design, drainage design, roads and/or utility design
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the local and international airport design standards such as GACAR, FAA, and ICAO Annex 14 and 9157.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of fostering teamwork and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead and deliver airport engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet local and international aviation standards, related codes, and organizational objectives.
• Identify potential technical challenges and proactively devise solutions.
• Planning and leading the interface and communicating with the relevant internal and external design teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of AviPlan, AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• In addition to advanced CAD skills, proficiency in office productivity software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is expected. Experience with project management and design visualization software will be considered an advantage.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
• Bachelor s or master s degree in civil engineering
• Total 10+ years of related work experience required.
• Previous Technical / Design Delivery experience on similar or related large/ Medium scale Airport project types.
• Strong Experience in Airport Engineering Design
• Experience in airfield / terminal operations
• Extensive experience in design and technical management of multidisciplinary teams, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale airport projects.
• Middle East Experience is preferred.
