Executive Chef / Head Chef

Seeking an Executive Chef (Head Chef) to join our team for new Mediterranean restaurant project in a prime location in Doha. 

Responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. Candidate expected to be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and ingredients, we’d like to meet you.


Responsibilities


• Menu Planning: Developing menus in line with culinary trends, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability of ingredients.

• Food Preparation: Overseeing and coordinating the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in the kitchen.

• Kitchen Management: Managing and supervising kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

• Quality Control: Ensuring that all dishes meet high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and portion size.

• Food Safety Regulations: Adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and ensuring food handling procedures are followed.

• Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining food inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.

• Budgeting: Creating and managing the kitchen budget, including cost control measures and pricing strategies.

• Creativity and Innovation: Continuously developing new dishes, experimenting with flavors, and updating menu offerings to keep the dining experience fresh and exciting.

• Collaboration: Working closely with the restaurant management team, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and successful culinary initiatives.

• Leadership: Providing leadership and motivation to kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment, and encouraging professional development.


Skills

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Executive or head Chef more than 7 Years

• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment.

• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.
