The Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining, organizing, updating, and accurately recording company records and related financial and administrative information. The role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, attention to detail, and effective coordination with employees, customers, and relevant departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records, documents, and files.
- Enter, update, and verify data in the relevant accounting and electronic systems.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic records in accordance with company procedures.
- Review records and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Assist with various financial and administrative record-keeping activities.
- Support the Accounting Department in maintaining financial records and documentation.
- Prepare, organize, and retrieve records and documents as required by authorized personnel.
- Ensure that records are properly classified, stored, and easily accessible when needed.
- Coordinate with employees, customers, and other departments to obtain and exchange required information.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining records related to financial transactions and cash flow activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company, financial, employee, and customer information.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information in records and report them to the relevant supervisor.
- Use available technology and electronic systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of record-keeping activities.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Specialized University Degree in Accounting.
- Diploma in Accounting.
Experience:
- Fresh Graduate.
- 3 years of experience in financial accounting, with at least 2 years in the food industry or government companies.
