Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, perform ophthalmic surgeries, ensure excellent patient outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality ophthalmic services.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments. Diagnose and manage ophthalmic disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, refractive errors, retinal diseases, and ocular infections. Perform ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract and other anterior/posterior segment procedures, as per expertise. Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans. Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Handle emergency ophthalmic cases. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other specialists. Participate in hospital quality initiatives, CMEs, outreach programs, and eye camps when required.
