Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Design Support:
- Develop detailed plumbing and firefighting system drawings using AutoCAD/Revit for installation purposes.
- Prepare isometric drawings, schematics, and layouts for piping, fixtures, and firefighting systems.
- Revise and update drawings as per site instructions, design changes, or project requirements.
Coordination:
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, contractors, and other disciplines to avoid clashes in design.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design, installation, and modifications.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams based on drawings.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain proper filing of drawings (hard and soft copies) with revision history.
- Prepare drawing submittals for client or consultant approval.
Quality & Compliance:
- Verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
- Support installation teams by providing clarification on drawings during construction.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards of the MEP project.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Plumbing or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting system drafting for MEP projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, fire protection systems, and MEP installation practices.
