Key Responsibilities:

Drafting & Design Support:

• Develop detailed plumbing and firefighting system drawings using AutoCAD/Revit for installation purposes.
• Prepare isometric drawings, schematics, and layouts for piping, fixtures, and firefighting systems.
• Revise and update drawings as per site instructions, design changes, or project requirements.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with MEP engineers, contractors, and other disciplines to avoid clashes in design.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design, installation, and modifications.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams based on drawings.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain proper filing of drawings (hard and soft copies) with revision history.
• Prepare drawing submittals for client or consultant approval.

Quality & Compliance:

• Verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
• Support installation teams by providing clarification on drawings during construction.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards of the MEP project.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Plumbing or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting system drafting for MEP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, fire protection systems, and MEP installation practices.
