Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Technical Architect (Relocate to Malta/Big 4) Our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.
Role Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO) Senior Technical Architect to be accountable for the technical design of D365FO solutions and the supporting infrastructure. You will work closely with both the functional team and the clients of our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions. Your day-to-day function will require you to work closely with consultants in designing solutions tailored to the customers’ requirements, which are often large-scale enterprise D365FO projects. This will require you to take a hands-on approach in designing and leading the technical implementation of Dynamics products, working with both onshore and offshore development teams. You will need to demonstrate an effective balance between management skills and a broad range of technical skills.

Requirements
Experience and Background Minimum 9+ years’ of relevant experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&OExpertise in providing both out of the box and development solutions in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment; Ability to technically lead engagements and present to the C-Suite stakeholders Experience of large-scale ERP implementations Experience in leading a team of minimum of 4 members Experience with data migration, reporting and interfacing strategies Adept at Business Requirement Analysis with a focus on reducing development effort and simplifying delivery Experience in master data management and data governance delivery would be considered as an asset Pre-sales experience Business process mapping, modelling, and documentation knowledge Experience of mentoring junior and offshore staff Experience of Agile Methodology
Skills and Qualifications Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing A relevant degree within a computational discipline Deep and broad knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification. Must be able to show good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365A Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Core Certification together with a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Certification and a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Certification would be considered as an asset Understanding of Azure and cloud technologies Broad understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning and early live support In-depth experience with Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Integration Patterns, Data migration, Environment Strategies, Object Oriented Design, Test Driven Development, Dev Ops and power platform Demonstrable knowledge of capabilities of the supporting software in the Microsoft stack (certification is a positive), including:Azure SQL / SQL Server / Common Data Services (CDS) Power Platform Azure services including integration and infrastructure services. Dynamics 365 products such as Customer Engagement Plan and HRAzure Dev Ops Lifecycle Services Good understanding of functional capabilities of D365FO in one or more of the following:Financials Human Resources Project Management and Accounting Procurement & Sourcing Trade & Logistics Warehouse Production and Manufacturing Retail and Commerce Knowledge of best practices for working with offshore teams and on multi-national projects Proven skills in Data modelling, data governance, data quality management and related business processes Knowledge of Electronic reporting is an advantage Excellent presentation and demonstration skills Experience in responding to RFPs and RFQs would be beneficial

Project Responsibilities The Senior Technical Architect will lead the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO solutions Lead the design and development of sector specific templates to enhance the out of the box Dynamics 365 functionality, giving our client a unique selling point and also a resalable asset Define training needs within the team and coach other team members Deliver all consultancy according to the our client’s Project Methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan Provide on-site support as required by company or client Be responsible for setting up Azure Dev Ops as required by the Dev Ops principles Be responsible for ensuring that the Dev Ops practices are being followed Responsible for the overall Integration architecture of the system including requirements gathering, integration strategy, integration designs, coordinating testing, implementation, and support Responsible for the overall environment’s architecture of the D365 Implementation Project environments including requirements gathering, environments strategy, implementation, and support Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behaviour Identify technical risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary Ensure progress updates are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally Always represent our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions in a professional and positive manner
Practice Responsibilities Be a champion for technical solutions across the Microsoft platform, driving the adoption of new features and technology Have an exceptional understanding of Dynamics 365 technical capabilities Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements Be a role model and a reference point to the team members Participate in forums and knowledge sharing activities Conducting technical interviews Business travel requested by client for requirement gathering or trainings Act as a coach, provide appraises with the support and resources to develop their skills and knowledge Identify practice development activities and help in defining how these will be delivered Contribute to the creation of our client’s Dynamics 365 solutions and industry templates Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Directors In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training Ability to manage and optimize team performance Expertise in performance evaluation and career improvement strategies Performance manage and/or mentor junior members of the team Willing to travel abroad when required The Employee is required to follow our client’s Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times
