Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Market Analysis· Conduct comprehensive analysis of the market, including customer segments, competitors, regulatoryenvironment, and market trends.· Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and areas for growth.
2. Sales & Business Development Strategy· Advise on the creation and execution of sales and business development strategies tailored to themarket.· Set ambitious yet achievable sales and business development targets in alignment with overallcompany objectives.· Recommend pricing models, product positioning, sales channels, and partnership frameworks.
3. Market Entry & Expansion· Guide market entry strategies, including localization, legal compliance, and cultural adaptation.· Support identification, evaluation, and negotiation with potential local partners, distributors, agents, andstrategic clients.
4. Business Development Execution· Lead efforts to source, develop, and close new business opportunities, including partnerships, jointventures, and strategic alliances.· Facilitate introductions to key stakeholders, government entities, and industry leaders within Kuwait.· Build and nurture relationships with strategic clients, partners, and influencers to drive business growth.
5. Performance Monitoring· Establish KPIs and metrics to track sales, business development activities, and market penetration.· Review performance reports and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.6. Team Leadership & Development· Mentor and develop the local sales and business development teams, ensuring alignment withcompany values and objectives.· Recommend training programs and resources to enhance team capabilities in sales and partnershipmanagement.
7. Risk Management & Compliance· Advise on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to sales and business developmentinitiatives.· Ensure all activities comply with local laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
8. Brand Positioning & Marketing Support· Recommend effective marketing campaigns and brand positioning strategies for the Kuwait market.· Support public relations, brand awareness, and business development events.
9. Reporting & Communication· Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.· Prepare market expansion, business development, and sales reports, forecasts, and strategicpresentations.
Job Requirements:Experience· 10–15+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development.· Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.· Proven experience in market expansion and strategic partnerships.· Strong exposure to the Kuwait market and decision-making ecosystem.
Technical & Professional Requirements· Strong strategic planning and market analysis capabilities.· Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.· Proven track record in achieving multi-million revenue targets.· Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and complex deal structuring.· Strong negotiation and executive-level communication skills.· Experience working with government and enterprise sectors (if applicable).
