About the Role
We are a Kuwait-based company looking to hire an experienced IoT, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer with strong exposure to Industrial IoT (IIoT), PLC/SCADA systems, and field instrumentation. The role involves designing, deploying, and supporting integrated automation and IoT solutions across industrial and infrastructure environments.
Candidates with software development exposure, hands-on field experience, and strong system integration skills are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions
Integrate field instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature sensors) with PLCs and IoT gateways
Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems
Implement and support industrial communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, BACnet)
Support software development and system integration for data acquisition, dashboards, and analytics
Perform commissioning, calibration, loop checking, FAT/SAT activities
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in live industrial environments
Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, and system architecture diagrams
Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of experience in IoT, Industrial Automation, and Instrumentation Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with:
PLC / SCADA / DCS systems
Industrial sensors and instrumentation
Industrial networking and protocols
Exposure to software development (Python, C/C++, Java Script, or similar)
Experience with IoT platforms, edge devices, and gateways
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar – preferred)
Mandatory Requirements
Valid and transferable residency in Kuwait
Valid Kuwaiti driving license
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in utilities, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial facilities
Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity / OT security
Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and analytics tools
