The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of technology projects across core banking systems, digital platforms, and payments infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation and IT initiatives within the bank. Manage core banking system upgrades, migrations, and regulatory-driven enhancements. Deliver payments-related projects including SWIFT, ISO 20022, real-time payments, and safer payments initiatives. Oversee project planning, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, IT teams, and regulators. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and governance frameworks. Manage testing, data migration, go-live, and post-implementation support. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of core banking systems and banking technology landscapes. Hands-on experience with payments systems, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and real-time payments. Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management. Strong stakeholder, vendor, and communication skills. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models. Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification. Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programs. Familiarity with API-based integrations and modern banking architectures.
