Commis Chef

Are you passionate about cooking and eager to grow your culinary career? We are looking for a Commis Chef who is enthusiastic, disciplined, and ready to learn while supporting daily kitchen operations in a professional hospitality environment.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and presentation of dishes. Preparing ingredients, mise en place, and basic cooking under supervision. Following recipes, portion control, and kitchen standards accurately. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Assisting with proper storage of food items and stock rotation (FIFO). Supporting smooth service by coordinating with different kitchen sections. Learning kitchen operations, techniques, and best practices. Performing any other duties as assigned by senior kitchen leaders.

What we need from you:

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or relevant kitchen experience is an advantage. Basic culinary knowledge and a strong interest in food preparation. Willingness to learn, take instructions, and work as part of a team. Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Culinary training or hotel management qualification will be an advantage.
