We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Waiter to join our team in the vibrant hospitality and accommodation sector in Kuwait. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that patrons receive attentive and friendly service while maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage presentation. You will be the face of our establishment, and your interactions with customers will significantly influence their overall experience. This position requires a blend of excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and a passion for the culinary arts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  2. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer preferences are noted.
  3. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
  4. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
  5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, addressing any issues that may arise.
  6. Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have regarding food and drink options.
  7. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance service skills and restaurant knowledge.
  9. Process payments and manage cash register transactions accurately.
  10. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe dining environment for both guests and staff.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  5. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

  7. Attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and service quality.
