Position Title: Social Media Executive (TikToker)

Job Purpose:

The Social Media Executive (TikToker) is responsible for managing, creating, and producing engaging TikTok content to increase Kana Group's brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and drive sales growth. This role involves staying updated with social media trends, particularly TikTok, to deliver creative and innovative campaigns that resonate with the target audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
  • Develop and produce engaging TikTok content in line with Kana Group’s brand identity and marketing strategy.
  • Utilize creative storytelling, video editing, and trend adaptation to create high-impact, viral content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, retail, and customer happiness) to highlight products, services, and customer experiences.
  1. Campaign Execution:
  • Plan and execute TikTok campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader social media and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as views, shares, likes, and audience growth, adjusting campaigns as needed.
  • Collaborate with influencers and content creators to amplify Kana Group’s presence on TikTok.
  1. Trend Analysis and Adaptation:
  • Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure Kana Group's content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for creative and competitive advantage.
  1. Community Engagement:
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive brand image.
  • Monitor and engage with user-generated content and interactions across TikTok and other relevant social media platforms.
  1. Performance Reporting:
  • Track and report on TikTok analytics and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports on TikTok campaigns' performance for the Marketing Director and senior management.
  1. Cross-Platform Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with the broader social media team to ensure cohesive branding across all platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat).
  • Assist in content creation for other social media platforms as needed, particularly with video content.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media content creation, with a specific focus on TikTok.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in TikTok content creation, video production, and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere).
  • Strong understanding of TikTok trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools to track performance metrics and optimize content.
