METAL PRODUCTS COMPANY is looking to add an experienced Sales Engineer to our team. Our company is a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge building material and finishes solutions, and we are currently seeking talented Sales Specialists to join our dynamic Sales & Business Development Team.

Role Summary
As a Sales Engineer in our team, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business through sales. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, fostering strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and promoting our innovative building material solutions to various clients in the industry. Your primary focus is to identify client needs, offer tailored solutions, and achieve sales targets, hence being a key contributor to the overall success of the company.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer with focus on business development for project sales, you will:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and generate leads within the building and construction sector in Kuwait.
- Identify and prospect new clientele base and key decision-makers in the construction sector with the objective of cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and contractors.
- Being thoroughly updated and informed with the local market needs and having a strong ability to scope for the latest projects within the Hotel, Residential, Commercial & Healthcare industry.
- Conduct regular visits, product presentations and demonstrations to showcase our product portfolio to potential clients and persuade them of the advantages of implementing our products in their projects.
- Assist in the specification process, documentation, and preparation of technical proposals.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to drywall systems and building finishes.
- Follow up with clients on a regular basis to ensure that prospective sales are aligned with the project timeline.
- Review and collect client approvals for ongoing and completed projects in a timely manner.
- Support various distribution channels within the organization whenever necessary.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to assist the management in formulating effective sales strategies.
- Forecast project sales and prepare a sales pipeline on a quarterly & annual basis.
- Meet and exceed the monthly and quarterly sales targets of the organization; consistently driving revenue growth.
- Ability to assist the cost & estimation team by managing incomplete inquiries via the gathering and analysis of sufficient data from clients and bids.
- Conduct phone calls and attend meetings with walk-in clients, assisting them in identifying their needs.
- Being a key player in the team, by ensuring the successful materialization of sales queries to actual sales transactions.
- Ensure all sales, payments, and deliveries are made on time and in a seamless manner.
Eligible Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree qualifications in Engineering or related field are mandatory.
- Possess 1 to 5 years of experience in technical sales targeting project sales within Kuwait; preferably in the construction industry and Building Solutions/Building Material products.
- A proven and successful sales track record in project and B2B sales in Kuwait; preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of drywall systems or related construction products is a strong advantage.
- Talented individuals with strong negotiation and persuasion skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong organizational, writing, communication and time management skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge and familiarity with BOQs, Project Specifications and tender documents.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision with the ability to report data clearly to the management and play as part of the Team.
- Willingness to commute to client meetings, project sites and industry events whenever needed.
- Initiative-taking, goal-oriented, punctual and diligent individual who can work effectively as part of a team.
- Candidate should also have an existing strong consultant & contractor network in Kuwait.
- Fluency in computer software like (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite)
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a transferrable Visa.
- Preferably have a valid driver’s license and car.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is compulsory; any other languages are advantageous.
