Job Title: E-commerce Content Officer

Location: Kuwait


Job Summary: The Content Officer is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing high-quality content across various platforms to support the company's marketing and communication objectives. This role involves researching, writing, editing, and publishing content that engages the target audience and aligns with the brand's voice and goals. The Content Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure content consistency and effectiveness in driving traffic, engagement, and conversions.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Listing:

  • Conduct product research and manage comprehensive product listings.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed product information from supplier to customer.
  • Communicate with the category team and suppliers to acquire detailed item information and images.
  • Create product listings with basic attributes like SKU, type, size, and title based on research and cross-checking.
  • Collect detailed product data such as benefits, concerns, and features. Generate product descriptions using data collected through AI tools.
  • Collaborate with and oversee teams responsible for image creation. Collaborate with and oversee teams responsible for Arabic translations.

Collaboration & Data Updates:

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure accurate data updates across systems and internal/external teams.
  • Communicate with suppliers and category teams for data updates.
  • Manage relationships with data vendors and third-party services to ensure high-quality data delivery. Regularly update pricing and product information.
  • Create and maintain the product discontinuation cycle.
  • Monitor and manage product feeds, troubleshooting any issues that arise. Upload and synchronize product data across PIM, ERP, eCommerce, and retail platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce, supply chain, and customer service teams for any extra product-related needs and listings.
  • Follow up with teams to ensure flawless completion of data processes and timelines.
  • Report and share insightful product catalog details like Category/SKU/type counts. Track and analyze performance metrics related to product information accuracy and efficiency.

Process, Standards & Quality Assurance:

  • Update and enforce data standards and process workflows.
  • Ensure data quality by establishing and maintaining data quality and consistency standards.
  • Develop and implement efficient product data collection and management processes.
  • Perform regular QA and QC checks to ensure data integrity.


Qualifications:

  1. Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel.
  2. Experience with PIM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
