Inspect and ensure compliance of welding, piping, NDE, hydrotesting and painting/coating activities with project specifications, ITPs and applicable codes.
Review method statements, ITPs, quality procedures and contractor documents before work execution.
Conduct stage, final, witness and surveillance inspections and coordinate with Client/TPI.
Perform welder qualification, special welding, NDE, hydrotest, line walk and mechanical walkdown inspections.
Raise and follow up NCRs, punch items and corrective actions until closure.
Verify inspection records, test certificates and quality dossiers and update Aconex/QUEST/InTouch.
Support site construction teams on quality requirements and technical clarifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
10+ years of QA/QC and inspection experience in Oil & Gas / EPCC / Engineering projects.
Strong experience in Welding, Piping, Pipeline, NDE and Painting/Coating inspection.
ASNT Level II certification in applicable NDE methods.
Good knowledge of ASME Sec. V, VIII & IX and AWS D1.1.
Mechanical Engineering Diploma/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
CSWIP 3.1 / AWS equivalent and BGAS certification preferred.
Experience in NCR management, QA/QC documentation and ISO 9001 auditing preferred.
