We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Mechanical Engineer in Kuwait. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems in a large-scale power plant.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Inspect turbines, pumps, compressors, boilers, and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety and maintenance standards.
- Analyse equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.
Required Skills
- Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance – Experience maintaining large-scale power plant equipment.
- Rotating Equipment – Expertise in turbines, pumps, compressors, and motors.
- Preventive Maintenance – Planning and executing maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshooting – Root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
- Safety Compliance – Knowledge of industrial safety practices and standards.
Preferred Skills
- SAP PM or CMMS knowledge.
- Shutdown maintenance planning.
- Leadership and team coordination.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within large-scale power plants. Experience handling critical plant equipment and maintenance planning is essential.
Education
- Minimum: B.E. Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: M.E. Mechanical Engineering
- Additional Certifications: Power Plant Maintenance, NEBOSH or equivalent (preferred)
