Role Summary The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis to enhance business efficiency and profitability. The role involves delivering accurate financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and assisting management in strategic decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with technical expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and business intelligence tools, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, identifying key trends and insights

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

• Monitor financial performance and recommend cost optimization opportunities

• Assist in cash flow management and liquidity planning

• Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases, and project feasibility

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide actionable insights

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements

• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and analysis

• Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve financial and operational performance

• Develop dashboards and reports using advanced Excel and Business Intelligence tools

Skills

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting 

• Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills may be considered.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience in the automotive or related industry is an advantage.
• IT certifications or an IT-related educational background are mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
• Pivot Tables
• Dashboards
• Macros
• Data Analysis
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Working knowledge of ERP and accounting systems.
• Exposure to Cognos, financial systems, or basic coding is an added advantage.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
