Job description
The Exhibition Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of exhibition booths and sponsorship packages across Artex's portfolio of events in Kuwait and the GCC. The role requires a proactive, target-driven individual who can independently manage a full sales pipeline from prospecting to contract signing.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, research, and prospect potential exhibitors across target industries for each event
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads at all times
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings
- Present and pitch Artex's exhibition packages to potential clients
- Negotiate booth sizes, locations, and pricing in line with approved rate cards
- Close deals and secure signed exhibitor contracts within agreed timelines
- Consistently meet and exceed individual booth sales targets per event
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with exhibitors, brands, and corporate accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts throughout the sales process
- Follow up with past exhibitors to secure repeat participation in future editions
- Build a personal network within Kuwait's business community across multiple sectors
Coordination & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, opportunities, and deals in the CRM system
- Provide weekly pipeline reports and sales forecasts to the Sales Manager
- Coordinate with the operations team to communicate exhibitor requirements and booth allocations
- Attend internal planning meetings and contribute to event sales strategy
- Represent Artex professionally at industry events, trade functions, and client meetings
Skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven ability to meet sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both Arabic and English
- Confident presenter, comfortable pitching to decision-makers at all levels
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in CRM tools to manage and track the sales pipeline
- Solid understanding of the Kuwait and GCC business landscape
- Existing network of contacts across local brands, SMEs, and corporate accounts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Commercial awareness and understanding of exhibition and events industry dynamics
