Job Summary
The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth seating process. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive first impression and maintaining efficient table management.
Job Description
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Coordinate with servers to manage table availability and turnaround
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area
- Handle guest inquiries, wait times, and special requests
- Answer phone calls and manage booking systems
- Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (reservation systems are a plus)
- Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous)
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Arabic speakers and fluency in English are required.
