Roles & Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
• Experience in Shopify theme development and customization.
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, sections, blocks, Meta fields, and custom templates.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.
• Experience with WordPress theme customization and plugin configuration.
• Understanding of WooCommerce checkout, product types, coupons, shipping, and payment settings.
• Basic knowledge of PHP for WordPress customization.
• Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website speed optimization.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Ability to debug front-end and back-end website issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify Plus is an advantage.
• Experience with custom Shopify apps or private app integrations.
• Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Gutenberg, or Shopify page builders.
• Experience with Odoo, ERP, inventory, or order management integrations.
• Knowledge of CRO, A/B testing, and user behavior tools.
• Experience with tools like Google Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse, GT metrics, Search Console, and Hotjar.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience in retail, electronics, auto parts, jewelry, or marketplace e-commerce is preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify development.
• Strong portfolio of e-commerce websites is preferred.
