Job description

Seeking a highly competent and technical Procurement Executive with solid experience in the Contracting sector, specifically specializing in Fire Protection such as fire alarm , fire fighting Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of fire fighting and fire alarm systems, sharp negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver materials on time and within budget to support project timelines.

Skills

SKILLS:

• Project Sourcing: Source, select, and procure fire protection materials and equipment (e.g., sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire alarm panels, FM200 systems, and safety gear) according to project requirements.
• Material Submittals & Compliance: Coordinate with project engineers to ensure all procured materials meet consultant specifications, international standards (e.g., NFPA, UL/FM listed), and local Civil Defense regulations.
• Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations with local and international suppliers/vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and optimal delivery schedules to maximize project profitability.
• Logistics & Site Coordination: Oversee the supply chain and logistics process to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites, preventing any project delays.
• Vendor Performance: Evaluate and manage vendor performance regularly, building a reliable and diverse network of manufacturers and suppliers.
