Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of landscape materials (plants, irrigation, fertilizers, soil, hardscape materials)
• Source and evaluate suppliers, nurseries, and vendors
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, and negotiate pricing
• Coordinate with site teams for material requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to site
• Maintain inventory and procurement records
• Verify material quality upon delivery
• Maintain supplier relationships in Kuwait

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement or related field
• 3–5 years experience in procurement (landscape preferred)
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials
• Experience with local suppliers in Kuwait/GCC
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects

Skills

• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, plants, irrigation items, fertilizers, pesticides, hardscape materials, and outdoor furniture.
• Ability to source local and international suppliers for landscape and construction materials.
• Good understanding of procurement procedures, purchase orders, quotations, and vendor comparison.
• Experience in inventory and stock management for landscape projects and maintenance sites.
• Knowledge of Kuwait market suppliers and pricing trends for landscaping materials.
• Ability to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Coordination skills with project managers, site engineers, storekeepers, and accounts department.
• Ability to prepare material submittals and follow up on approvals.
• Knowledge of import/shipping procedures and customs documentation is an advantage.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to manage multiple purchase requests and urgent site requirements.
• Understanding of technical specifications and BOQ for landscape projects.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
