Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of hands on experience in IT support or a similar technical role, preferably in a corporate environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, operating systems and office software.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of system.
- Experience with setting up and troubleshooting all kinds of printers.
- Experience with setting up and troubleshooting networking equipment (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with back up solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and anti-virus software.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities; and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation and patience.
