To assist the Design Engineer in the preparation of designs/drawings based on the contract specifications in accordance with international engineering standards and codes of practice.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Produce effective product designs by using understanding of engineering and manufacturing techniques.

2. Create accurate & complete HVAC drawings as per the standards (duct routing, size, friction etc) following the design initiated by the Design Engineer.

3. To maintain the accuracy of the drawings in accordance with the project specifications.

4. Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Design Engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.

5. To follow up the schedule requested by the section head to release the drawings as per the time limitations and specifications.

6. To prepare weekly report of the drawings completed (single and double line diagrams) to be submitted to the section head.

7. To perform other duties as requested by the Design Engineer and in line with the department objectives.

Skills

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE LEVEL

- A Diploma degree in Drafting (relevant discipline focus) 

- Around 4 years experience in a relevant position. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

- Excellent verbal and written communication skill and analytical and organizational skills..
