We are seeking a Technical Estimation Engineer – Wood & Fit-Out to join our team, responsible for analyzing architectural and shop drawings and preparing accurate cost estimates for custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of woodworking materials, production processes, and furniture hardware, and be able to calculate material quantities, labor requirements, and project costs with precision. This role requires close coordination with designers, production teams, and clients to ensure all quotations are competitive, profitable, and aligned with project requirements. The candidate should be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple quotations under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical details
• Deep knowledge of woodworking materials, finishes, and furniture hardware (e.g., MDF, plywood, veneers, fittings)
• Accurate cost estimation skills including material take-off, labor calculation, and pricing strategies
• Good understanding of carpentry production processes and factory workflow (CNC, cutting, edge banding, assembly)
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight quotation deadlines
