Responsibilities
•Serve as the primary point of contact for user support calls, accurately understanding and documenting technical concerns.
•Perform first‑level troubleshooting over the phone to resolve network, connectivity, and system-related issues wherever possible.
•Escalate unresolved or specialized issues to the appropriate IT teams or departments for corrective action.
•Log all user complaints and ensure proper documentation for follow‑up and audit purposes.
•Monitor and track progress of user issues, providing necessary / needed updates and communication to end users until resolution.
•Prepare summary reports of user incidents, trends, and escalations to the Manager.
•Provide users with information and guidance on IT services, processes, and available support resources.
•Configure and maintain internet and Network services required for business operations and departmental needs.
•Analyze recurring user problems and escalate to relevant vendors, service providers, or internal teams for permanent resolution.
•Monitor network performance and traffic using approved network monitoring tools to ensure optimal operation and security.
•Coordinate with suppliers and user departments for provisioning, installation, and configuration of Fiber, DSL, wireless links, and other connectivity solutions.
•Regularly verify the health and availability of all communication links, reporting issues proactively.
•Perform regular backups of routers, firewalls, and switches. etc
•Assist with installation & basic configuration of routers and related network equipment.
•Perform environment administration, including user session management and troubleshooting.
•Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
•Maintain accurate inventory records of all Network hardware & software assets, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Educational Qualifications
Education Degree
: Bachelor
Major
: • Engineering in IT (Networking related) • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or Network+.
Experience
Years of Experience
: 3 - 6 Years
Field of Experience
: • 3+ years full-time experience as a Network Administrator or similar role in any industry.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment
• Knowledge of cloud networking associated with AWS, Azure, and Oracle platforms is preferred
• Experience with VoIP, wireless networks, and network automation
Skills
•Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
•Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network devices best practices
•Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
•Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and meet deadlines
•Strong documentation and communication skills.
