In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including; planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work along with the review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, performing engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts.
Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:
Maintain/repair all equipments of the Factory as per preventive maintenance schedule and as per assignment given by the Supervisor
Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Complete MJR’S as per instruction of Supervisor
Learn all operation of utility like firefighting equipment's, compressors, softener, thinner recycling machine, Processing and Packing Machines
Operate and maintain log sheets as per instruction of Supervisor
Record daily activities in daily accomplishment report
Maintain the spare parts and maintain all the maintenance related documents
Ensure taking WPT for all critical jobs
Observe the fire and safety instructions of the factory and be an active member of firefighting team
Shall perform other related jobs/ tasks as required.
The role will be based in Kuwait and will report into the Maintenance Engineer.
Furthermore, we expect that you have
ITI/DIPLOMA in Mechanical.
At least 3 years hands on experience in Paint/Chemical industry.
Trouble shooting of Dispersers, Pear Mills, Packing Units, AOD pumps, OFRU Unit
Testing and calibration of pressure gauges, Ensure the safety of load lifting tools and tackles
Maintain balance in work culture and healthy relation with all the employees.
Should have hand on experience in Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
Should have English proficiency - Speak, Read & Write
