The Production Manager will oversee the complete production process of our luxury atelier, ensuring each handmade dress and wedding gown is crafted with precision, quality, and delivered on schedule. This role requires strong coordination across design, pattern-making, cutting, embroidery, stitching, and finishing teams.Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & CoordinationPlan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.Coordinate with designers to understand design requirements, timelines, and fabric usage.Monitor workflow across all sections (pattern, cutting, embroidery, stitching, finishing).2. Quality Control & StandardsEnsure every garment meets atelier luxury standards.Supervise fittings, alterations, and finishing checks.Maintain consistency in detailing, embroidery, and construction quality.3. Team ManagementManage tailors, embroiderers, cutters, and finishing staff.Assign work according to skill level and deadlines.Train staff on quality standards and new techniques.4. Timeline & Delivery ManagementTrack progress of each order from sampling to final delivery.Ensure urgent bridal orders are prioritized.Solve delays or production issues quickly.5. Inventory & Material ControlMonitor stock of fabrics, trims, accessories, and embroidery materials.Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.Reduce wastage and manage costing efficiently.6. Process ImprovementDevelop efficient production systems for couture workflow.Maintain production records and reports.Suggest improvements for time, quality, and cost optimization.RequirementsExperience: 5+ years in fashion production (preferably luxury/bridal atelier).Strong knowledge of couture construction and finishing techniques.Ability to handle custom orders and complex designs.Leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and organizational ability.
